Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church will close its year of anniversary activities with the 180th Anniversary Gala on Friday, June 7th.

Building on the Anniversary theme, “A History to Honor, A Future to Forge: Worshiping, Liberating and Serving for 180 Years,” the Annniversary Gala will honor notable leaders from across the nation, who have helped safeguard full rights for peoples of color, especially those of African descent, and we will shine light on the community service performed by the congregation and its stewardship of our historic edifice.
